Job summary

Papa John's International, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Member for our Louisville dough production plant. You will produce high quality dough, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure dough handling procedures meet standards.

Shift options: 1st (5am-2pm) or 2nd (2pm-11pm). Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior production experience, and the ability to read and follow policies in English.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Food handling certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Rotate and date dough trays; maintain proper cooling temperatures.
• Maintain GMP cleanliness and sanitation to prevent contamination.
• Pre-soak dough trays and process through tray washer.
• Lock out/tag out dough production equipment prior to cleaning.
• Wash and sanitize all dough processing equipment and production area after production.
• Sign off on sanitation, weight and other dough production processes.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE and uniforms.
• Perform housekeeping for the Quality Control Center as requested.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and flooring.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Sanitation, HACCP, FDA/OSHA and Papa John's policies.
• Other duties may be assigned.

We are looking for a Production Team Member at our food manufacturing plant who is responsible for producing high quality dough, maintaining all equipment in a highly sanitized environment, and ensuring all dough is handled properly.

1st shift (5am-2pm) and 2nd shift (2pm-11pm) available!

Pay up to $20/hr.

What's on the Menu:

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Ensure all dough trays are properly dated, stacked and down-stack proper number of trays and maintain rotation practices at proper cooling temperature(s).
• Maintain and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards on cleanliness and sanitation to ensure product is free of contamination or foreign material.
• Pre-soak dough trays and process through tray washer.
• Perform advanced lock out/tag out of all dough production equipment prior to cleaning/sanitizing.
• Wash, rinse and sanitize all dough processing equipment and production room upon completion of production.
• Document and sign off on various processes in dough production (sanitation, rejection procedure, dough weight, etc.)
• Adhere to all prescribed safety practices, including wearing the proper safety equipment/uniform.
• Perform general housekeeping for the Quality Control Center as requested.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.
• Use cleaning chemicals and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in a safe and proper manner.
• Ensure compliance with Safety standards, Sanitation and HACCP policies & procedures, federal, state and local regulations (OSHA, FDA, DOL) and all Papa John's International, Inc., policies & procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Critical Ingredients:
