Job summary

Papa Johns in Colorado is seeking a Production Team Member to produce high quality dough per PJ Food Service specs, maintain a sanitized production area, and ensure proper dough handling.

The role involves following GMP standards, proper tray dating and rotation, and working with cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure product integrity and safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics around KPIs; recommend/implement improvements.
• Ensure dough trays are dated, stacked and rotated properly at correct cooling temperatures.
• Maintain GMP standards on cleanliness and sanitation to prevent contamination.
• Presoak dough trays and run through tray washer.
• Perform lock out/tag out of dough production equipment before cleaning; sanitize equipment after production.
• Document and sign off on processes in dough production (sanitation, weight, rejection).
• Adhere to safety practices and wear required PPE.
• Perform general housekeeping for the Quality Control Center.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and flooring.
• Use cleaning chemicals and PPE safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulations.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Summary

The Production Team Member is responsible for producing high quality dough within PJ Food Service specifications, maintaining all equipment in a highly sanitized environment and ensuring all dough is handled properly.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Place dough balls into clean trays according to PJ Food Service standards.
• Monitor productivity standards by analyzing metrics surrounding key performance indicators. Recommend/implement ways to improve performance.
• Insure all dough trays are properly dated, stack and down-stack proper number of trays and maintain rotation practices at proper cooling temperature(s).
• Maintain and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards on cleanliness and sanitation to insure product is free of contamination or foreign material.
• Presoak dough trays and process through tray washer.
• Perform advanced lock out/tag out of all dough production equipment prior to cleaning/sanitizing. Wash, rinse and sanitize all dough processing equipment and production room upon completion of production.
• Document and sign off on various processes in dough production (sanitation, rejection procedure, dough weight, etc.)
• Adhere to all prescribed safety practices, including wearing the proper safety equipment/uniform.
• Perform general housekeeping for the Quality Control Center as requested.
• Operate floor maintenance equipment to clean carpets and other flooring.
• Use cleaning chemicals and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in a safe and proper manner.
• Ensure compliance with PJFS Safety standards, Sanitation and HACCP policies & procedures, federal, state and local regulations (OSHA, FDA, DOL) and all Papa John’s International, Inc., policies & procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Pay Range

$16.71-$25.06 Hourly

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
