Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is hiring Team Members for our Pekin, IL manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include packing and shipping dry ice, labeling and staging, forklift operation, and supporting safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with a $2.00 night shift differential. This 12-hour shift role requires the ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in related roles.
• Food safety experience preferred.
• Able to follow directions and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Packing and wrapping ice to customer specifics.
• Shoveling and packaging dry ice during the manufacturing process.
• Labeling, strapping, and staging dry ice for loading.
• Safe forklift operation.
• Move between departments as directed by supervisor.

MANUFACTURINGTEAM MEMBER - Pekin, IL Nippon Sanso Mathesonis lookingforTeam Members for our manufacturing plant in Pekin, IL. Our TeamMembers are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels ofsafety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift fromeither 7AM-7PM working every other weekend and scheduledholidays. **NEW HIGHER WAGES** Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a$2.00 Night Shift Differential.
Packing andwrapping ice to customer specifics
Shoveling andpackaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, andstaging of dry ice for loading
Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
Safe forklift operation
Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to andfrom positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.

EssentialFunctions:

Able tofrequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment
Demonstrated ability to work on a team
Attention to detail with a focus on quality
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, andhave the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work.Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safework practices.
