Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is hiring Manufacturing Team Members for our Pekin, IL plant. The role supports safety, quality and productivity on a 12-hour shift (7 AM–7 PM), with every-other weekend and scheduled holidays.

Starting wage is $20.00/hour with a $2.00 night shift differential. Responsibilities include packing ice, packaging dry ice, labeling and staging for loading, and safe forklift operation; moving between departments as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience required or preferred: 1-3 years; food safety experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Pack and wrap ice to customer specs.
• Move and package dry ice during manufacturing.
• Label, strap and stage dry ice for loading.
• Clean and sanitize large industrial containers.

MANUFACTURINGTEAM MEMBER - Pekin, IL

Nippon Sanso Matheson is lookingfor Team Members for our manufacturing plant in Pekin, IL. Our TeamMembers are responsible for providing support to achieve optimal levels ofsafety, quality and productivity. This position is a 12 hour shift fromeither 7AM-7PM working every other weekend and scheduledholidays. NEW HIGHER WAGES Starting Wage: $20.00/hour with a$2.00 Night Shift Differential.

• Packing andwrapping ice to customer specifics
• Shoveling andpackaging dry ice during the manufacturing process - Labeling, strapping, andstaging of dry ice for loading
• Cleaning and sanitizing large industrial containers
• Safe forklift operation
• Will be required to move from one department to another or to be moved to andfrom positions/stations as directed by supervisor and leads.

EssentialFunctions:

• Able to frequently/continually lift 30lbs while twisting, reaching and bending
• Able to stand for a 12-hour shift in non-climate-controlled environment
• Demonstrated ability to work on a team
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience required/ Preferred 1-3 years Desired Food safety experience
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to Speak UP and do what is right, andhave the ability to watch out for others and help instead of watch others work.Ability to follow directions, to be at work on time, understand and follow safework practices.
