Charleys Frederick County Square is hiring Team Members for the Morning Shift to serve Charleys' made-to-order cheesesteaks, wings, fries and more in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. We are seeking experienced restaurant workers for Grill and Fry Cook positions.

This position starts as early as 9:00 AM and runs until at least 4:00 PM, with availability on weekdays, weekends and holidays, and you must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Master the complete Charleys menu, including limited-time items.
• Communicate clearly, quickly, and politely with co-workers so our team serves guests a perfect order every time.
• Prepare food to delight customers while meeting restaurant, health, and safety rules.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment to deliver safe meals.
• Deliver consistent quality, exceptional service, cleanliness, and value for each guest.
• Move in and out of walk-in coolers and freezers to place and retrieve items.
• Proactively clean and organize work areas and restock to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Wipe down counters, tables, trash receptacles, floors, walls, and restrooms.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean environment.
• Move supplies to support efficient service and timely preparation.
• Stock and rotate products as needed.
• Complete assigned prep work.
• Prepare food and drinks, including new menu items.
• Be friendly and attentive to every customer.
• Inform supervisor of problems or unusual matters.
• Perform duties for the assigned role during your shift.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Quickly and accurately prepare tasty food to delight customers while meeting restaurant, health, and safety rules.
• Properly and safely operate and maintain equipment to deliver consistent, safe meals for guests, while following all health and safety standards.
• Strive to deliver consistent quality, exceptional service, cleanliness, and outstanding value for each guest.
• Move in and out of walk-in coolers and freezers to place and retrieve items.
• Proactively clean and organize work areas and restock to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Wipe down counters, tables, trash receptacles, floors, walls, and restrooms to ensure guests enjoy a clean, safe environment.
• Remove trash and place it in the dumpster to maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
• Moves food, paper, and cleaning supplies to support efficient service and timely food preparation.
• Stock and rotate products as needed.
• Complete assigned prep work.
• Prepare food and drink items, including new menu additions, to offer guests a variety of fresh, enjoyable choices.
• Be friendly and attentive to every customer's needs to create a memorable experience.
• Promptly inform the immediate supervisor of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Perform functions for the assigned role during your shift, which may include cashier, grill cook, fry cook, etc.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management staff or shift leaders.

Requirements:

• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Able to work safely around hot and cold cooking equipment.
• Correctly reads orders from a monitor.
• Safely handles raw, frozen, and cooked food products.
• Completes hands-on training and occasional assigned coursework on a computer, tablet, or cell phone.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Be respectful and professional to guests, managers, and teammates.
• Arrive at work on time.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to work as early as 9:00 AM on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work as late as 4:00 PM on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
