Job summary

LV Petroleum is opening Miss J's dining concept and is seeking Team Members to join the brand’s new dining experience in Edgerton, KS. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare meals, and ensure a clean, safe dining and kitchen area.

Responsibilities include handling payments with POS, delivering friendly service during busy periods, restocking, and collaborating with team members to maintain quick, high-quality service. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math for cash transactions and registers.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety is a plus.

LV Petroleum is thrilled to announce the opening of Miss J's, our exciting new dining concept offering delicious home-cooked meals. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Team Members, where you will play a crucial role in delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and take their orders, providing detailed information about menu items and daily specials
• Prepare and serve high-quality meals and beverages, adhering to Miss J's recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist in processing customer payments accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale systems
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain fast, efficient service during busy periods
• Restock supplies and inventory as necessary to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing ideas to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and operating registers
• Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
