Job summary

Kent Companies seeks a Rustic Caf Team Member to deliver exceptional guest service and assist in food preparation and serving at counters and steam tables.

You will read recipes, operate kitchen utensils, store food properly, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards while supporting a fast-paced dining environment.

This full-time role requires 18+, ability to pass a drug test, flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and the stamina to stand up to 10 hours daily.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to guests.
• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.

• Operate a variety of kitchen utensils.
• Assist in preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Properly store food and inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.

As a Rustic Caf Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests!

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner.
• Assists in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
• Reads recipes and/or product directions.
• Operates variety of kitchen utensils.
• Assists in prep of hot and/or cold foods.
• Properly stores food and inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Food service and food sampling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and must pass a drug test.
• Must have availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, on a full‑time schedule.

Additional Information

Must be able to stand and walk up to 10 hours daily performing the functions as described above.

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height.
• Must be able to climb ladders and step stools.
• Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
