Position Mission: The Food Champion ensures the highest quality of food and service by meticulously preparing menu items, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and communicating effectively with team members. This role is crucial in delivering a consistent and exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities Include

1. Be an expert on the menu and prepare items to specifications.
2. Mark customizations according to procedures.
3. Communicate effectively between the line, front counter, and drive-thru.
4. Assist the expediter and provide excellent customer service during handoffs.
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workstation.
6. Regularly check food temperatures and monitor cooler temperatures.
7. Clean equipment such as grills, melters, taco rails, and crumb trays.
8. Use proper portioning tools and monitor ingredient levels.
9. Wear a headset on the drive-thru line.
10. Stock the line with necessary supplies.
11. Use and clean fryers, monitor their status, and refresh items as needed.

Physical Demands

1. Work in temperatures from 0°F to over 100°F.
2. Move throughout the restaurant for up to 10-12 hours per day.

4. Balance and move up to 25 lbs. for longer distances.
5. Respond to requests in a loud environment.
6. Stand, walk, sit, and handle objects and tools.
7. Reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
8. Visual and sensory abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Pay Rate

Minimum wage varies by location: California: $20.00-$20.25/hourly, Los Angeles: $20.00-$20.25/hourly.
