Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a Cook – Team Member to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items, follow Popeyes recipes, and maintain food safety and portion controls.

You will operate kitchen equipment safely, keep stations clean, and help manage kitchen flow during peak times while delivering the brand’s Cajun Hospitality to guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Popeyes standards, following established recipes and portion controls.

This role requires consistency, speed, and attention to detail to ensure every guest receives high-quality food prepared with Popeyes® famous Cajun Hospitality.
