Job summary

Kamari Coffee is seeking a Team Member for Coffee and Event Services to support events, staff our barista bar, and keep our warehouse and inventory running smoothly. This role blends guest-facing service with behind-the-scenes prep and logistics, so no two days look alike.

You will support events from prep to execution and breakdown, craft and serve quality coffee, and help keep our headquarters organized and stocked, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year minimum experience in hospitality, catering, food & beverage, or customer service.
  • 1 year minimum barista experience.
  • Basic food safety knowledge; Food Handler certification.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation to events and our headquarters.
  • Willingness to learn coffee/espresso equipment operation.
  • Must wear appropriate protective clothing (non-slip shoes).
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs across service, bar, and warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

As a Team Member, Coffee and Event Services, you'll be a versatile, hands-on part of the Kamari Coffee team — supportingour coffee events, staffing our barista bar, and keeping our warehouse and inventory running smoothly. This role blendsguest-facing service with behind-the-scenes prep and logistics, so no two days look exactly alike. You will support eventsfrom prep to execution and breakdown, craft and serve quality coffee beverages, and help keep our headquarters organizedand stocked — all while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, professionalism, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Event Service
  • Assist with event prep and staging at our headquarters
  • Transport coffee and supplies to event venues
  • Set up service areas and presentation displays
  • Serve guests with a positive, friendly attitude
  • Clean up after events and return equipment to our offices
  • Anticipate guests' needs and go above and beyond in service delivery
Barista Support
  • Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other menu beverages to company quality standards
  • Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary barista station during and after service
  • Monitor beverage supplies (coffee, milk, syrups, cups, etc.) and restock as needed during events and shifts
  • Answer guest questions about menu offerings, coffee origins, and brewing methods
Warehouse Support
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, product, and event supplies
  • Pull, prepare, and stage equipment and supplies ahead of upcoming events
  • Help maintain accurate inventory counts and flag shortages or reorder needs
  • Load and unload vehicles for event transport
  • Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Assist with basic equipment upkeep and troubleshooting
General
  • Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times
  • Remain composed and professional in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and behavior
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Ability to push up to 50–100 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during service, barista, or warehouse shifts
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to organize inventory, equipment, and supplies
