Job summary

Chick-fil-A is hiring a Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen operations. Start at $14.00 per hour with a potential increase of up to $2.50 after a 90-day evaluation. Positions available are both full-time and part-time, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and efficiency in food preparation.

You will prepare, cook, assemble, and present food to Chick-fil-A standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and adhering to the company dress code and policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Able to lift and carry 25–50 lbs.
• Works well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep kitchen neat, clean, and orderly at all times.
• Stay up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards


• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep


• Stock kitchen inventory as needed


• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times


• Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A


• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership


• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up‑to‑date on any changes


• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned


• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times


• Other duties as assigned
