Job summary

NSK Precision America, Inc. (NPA) is seeking an assembler to get parts ready to pack in our grease and bag area and to assist with packing when needed.

You will assemble components to specifications, use hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement instruments, and inspect parts for quality. Maintain a clean work area and report issues to supervision in a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/assembly preferred; forklift experience a plus.
• Comfort with common hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and ensure assembly accuracy.
• Basic mechanical understanding of how systems fit and function.
• Team-oriented with reliable attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for packing in grease and bag area and assist with packing when needed.
• Assemble components according to specifications following SOPs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for precise assembly.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report equipment malfunctions or shortages.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; participate in lean initiatives.

Job description

• This position will be responsible for getting parts ready to pack in our grease and bag area and also helping out in packing when needed.
• Assemble components according to specifications following our standard operation procedure
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly work
• Inspect finished parts and for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Looking for:

• Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred with forklift experience.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using common hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Attention to Detail: Able to follow detailed work instructions and ensure accuracy in assembly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of how mechanical systems fit and function.
