AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking Team Drivers to move freight across multiple regions, maintaining 5,000+ miles per week per team and working full time.

The job emphasizes safe, legal operation of commercial vehicles and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Applicants must have a Class A CDL with HazMat and double/triple endorsements, pass DOT pre-employment screenings, and be at least 21 years old with one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• English literacy: read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Hazmat handling knowledge and safe transport.
• Forklift operation certification would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• At least one year of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to determine if load complies with regulations.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive to destinations in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure shipping documents are available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
