AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Team Driver to move freight across our multi-regional network. Drivers average 5,000+ miles per week, typically Monday through Friday, and are employed full-time with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, regulatory compliance, maintaining logs, and ensuring shipper paperwork is complete. CDL-A with HazMat and doubles/triples endorsements required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate CDL with HazMat and double/triple endorsements.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Flexible hours.
• Be familiar with proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to determine if the load complies with regulations.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between our company and the public.
• Drive truck to the required destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure that all shipping documentation is available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including operating landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other work related duties as assigned.
