Kids for the Future in Orrville, OH seeks a Team Leader to supervise painting activities, coordinate loading/unloading, and ensure quality and safety goals are met on the paint line. The role includes assisting with pretreat and paint records, color changes, and tool/fixturing development under the Paint Line Supervisor.
You will lead daily line priorities, guide team members, and help drive cost and quality improvements through effective hang density and safe, efficient operations.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in painting products, including loading, unloading, packaging, staging, light assembly work, and quality and chemical checks. Assists paint line operations with all paint line activities, including pretreat and paint records, powder and liquid paint applications, and color changes/cleanup. As a Team Leader, you will be part of the workforce while also being responsible for assigned duties as directed by the Paint Supervisor. This includes daily leadership of the load or unload end of the line, providing direction and priorities to team members. The Team Leader helps ensure quality and cost metrics are met through proper hanging density, continuous improvement of hanging standards, development of improved tools and fixtures, quality improvements, and safety improvements. This position reports to the Paint Line Supervisor.

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to three years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
