Job summary

CGL Electronic Security, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Technician to join as a Team Leader. You will install, diagnose, and repair access control, video, and intrusion systems, while mentoring apprentices and ensuring high customer service standards.

Based in MA, you will work on varied sites, travel locally, and maintain certifications. Strong communication and technical skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years servicing, installing, or programming access control systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Previous experience with Software House (required).
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights and with hand/power tools.
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Advanced technical skills in electronic security and video systems.
• MS Office basic skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Installation of access control systems end-to-end (Software House, Genetec, S2, Openpath, DSC, Honeywell).
• Installation and service of video surveillance solutions (Genetec, Exacq, Milestone).
• Hardware installations: readers, locks, power supplies, wiring.
• IP network configuration for surveillance and access control.
• Lead team members and train apprentice technicians.
• Provide excellent service to customers and complete service reports.
