Store Team Leader | Goodwill Industries of Central Florida

Eustis, FL

Every Goodwill store funds something bigger than retail. The donations that come through the door, the sales that happen on the floor, that's what pays for job training and employment services across Central Florida. Run one of our stores well, and you're running part of that mission.

We pay to attract serious retail talent, and we're looking for someone who's earned it: a retail leader who's run a high-volume floor, kept pace in a fast-moving environment, and knows what it takes to push performance forward week after week.

What you'll own:

The business. You're accountable for your store's revenue and expense budget, including payroll, and for hitting the numbers that matter: sales, shrink, labor cost, conversion. You'll track performance against prior periods and push for improvement day over day, month over month, year over year, the same discipline that separates a good store from a great one.

The floor. Inventory moves through your store constantly: donations in, sorted and graded, priced, rotated, markdowns scheduled, merchandise displayed to sell. You'll run that flow the way a high-volume operation demands: fast, organized, and never backed up. Merchandising decisions, stock rotations, color rotations are all yours to call.

The team. You're hiring, training, scheduling, and holding people accountable. That means building a bench that can handle real volume, developing your strongest people into future leaders, and making the tough calls: performance management, discipline, termination recommendations when the team needs it. You'll also keep eyes on loss prevention and support investigations when they come up, discreetly.

The building. Opening and closing, cash handling and bank deposits, safety drills and maintenance checks, staying ahead of safety requirements. When something goes wrong, you're the one who stays calm and handles it.

The customer experience. Every interaction on your floor reflects on the store and the mission behind it. You'll set the standard for service and make sure your team holds it, especially when volume is high and the pressure's on.

What gets you hired:
