Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Long Beach Memorial in Long Beach, CA is hiring a full-time Team Leader to supervise production, safety, and customer service within the facility.

As a Team Leader you will coordinate duties, manage staff, ensure HACCP and safety standards, assist in menu planning, and support onboarding and training of associates. Strong supervisory experience is required and competitive hourly pay ranges from $23 to $25.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverages while adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation and safety and meeting HACCP/OSHA guidelines.
• Oversees work procedures and expedites workflow to ensure timely, efficient meal service.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and associates in line with company standards and regulations.
• Monitors productivity and breaks of associates; communicates performance issues to management.
• Participates in onboarding and training of other associates; may conduct pre-service meetings.
• Responds to customer needs and requests; resolves concerns.
• Assists in menu planning and ordering procedures using appropriate company programs.
• May be responsible for cash handling and daily/weekly/monthly reports including inventories and production records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists the Manager on Duty with coordinating production, safety and customer service by assigning, delegating and managing the duties of all staff within the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items while adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation and safety while meeting HACCP, OSHA guidelines; ensures proper portion control.
• Oversees work procedures and expedites workflow to ensure timely, efficient meal service to all service areas.
• Directs and participates in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and associates in accordance with both company standards and government regulations.
• Oversees the productivity and breaks of associates; communicates performance issues to management.
• Participates in the onboarding and training of other associates; may conduct pre-service meetings.
• Responds to customer needs and requests; resolves customer concerns.
• Assists in menu planning and ordering procedures using appropriate company programs and initiatives.
• May be responsible for proper cash handling and completion of required daily, weekly and monthly reports, including inventory, cash and production records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
