Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Dallas, TX is seeking a Team Leader to support senior leadership, run daily operations, and coach team members with a servant’s heart. This role emphasizes service excellence, teamwork, and leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include shift leadership, training of new hires, effective guest interaction, and upholding company policies. Flexibility in scheduling and a focus on growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a source of reliable transportation.
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience as shift lead / supervisor is preferred but not required.

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Address guest issues that may arise, consult with management regarding complex issues.
• Maintain a positive and professional work relationship with all team members, treating them with honor, dignity and respect.
• Communicate team member performance and policy/procedure violations to management.
• Strictly adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
