Job summary

Job Description And Duties

Are you passionate about helping others learn and grow? California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is looking for a motivated training Supervisor I to support a team of trainers in delivering engaging learning programs both in person and through virtual instructor-led training.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to continue delivering training yourself while also helping coordinate team efforts, support course updates, and contribute to larger learning projects. You’ll work with team members, leaders, and vendors to assess training needs, improve existing courses, and help develop new learning solutions that support organizational goals.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Effective July 1, 2025, The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).
