Job description

United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead for Identity, Cloud, and Endpoint Security. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for developing and implementing security strategies that protect our identity management systems, cloud environments, and endpoint devices. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of security best practices in these areas.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Identity Management: Oversee the design and implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, ensuring secure and efficient access controls across the organization.
  • Cloud Security: Develop and enforce security policies and best practices for cloud environments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding sensitive data.
  • Endpoint Security: Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to protect devices against threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses related to identity, cloud, and endpoint security, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into overall IT practices, incident response, and risk management frameworks.
  • Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents related to identity, cloud, and endpoint security, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents, providing regular reports to senior management on security posture and initiatives.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in identity management, cloud security, and endpoint security, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in conducting risk assessments and responding to security incidents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
