Job summary

Rocket Homes Real Estate LLC is seeking a Team Leader of Audio Visual Events to direct all levels of events and lead the AV Events team in Detroit. The role requires strategic direction, coaching, and ensuring high-quality AV production from concept to execution.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in live production, strong AV knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Keynote. Leadership experience is preferred and the role involves coordination with vendors, clients, and internal

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a live production environment.
• Thorough knowledge of all audio visual (AV) event production subject matter.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency in Keynote.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to the Audio Visual Events team.
• Provide formal and informal feedback for development in regular performance conversations.
• Work with leadership, vendors, stakeholders and clients to identify event requirements, scope and objectives and to provide recommendations for best practices.
• Monitor and track assigned event project progress and proactively handle any issues.
• Review and approve vendor proposals and invoices for payment within budget.
• Administer full lifecycle AV production from concept through revisions and final execution.
• Use technical expertise to assist in creating effective messages or branding initiatives.
• Coordinate with technicians on equipment maintenance for video monitors, cameras, lighting, sound boards, microphones and associated AV items.
• Work with producers and directors on the design, installation and positioning of sets and props.
