Job summary

The Honey Baked Ham Company in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Team Leader to help run store operations and step in for the Manager when needed. If you’re organized, hands-on, and ready to take on real responsibility in a fast-paced retail/food service environment, this role is for you.

You’ll manage daily store activities, ensure product availability, handle opening/closing procedures, assist with banking and checkout, and help train front-of-house staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Driver's License (Preferred).
• Available to work Day Shift and Night Shift (Required).
• Comfortable working in a Quick Service & fast food restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations as assigned by the Manager.
• Assume all operational control in the absence of the Manager.
• Maintain product availability for customers.
• Execute basic store opening/closing procedures and daily/weekly reports.
• Perform administrative functions such as banking and daily checkout.
• Monitor and manage product quality on Front of House and Back of House using established processes and tools.
• Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed, including hand dip, hairnets, gloves, and aprons.
• Ensure proper use of equipment.
• Monitor stocking and cleanup duties; ensure FIFO rotation of all product in the Front of House.
• Handle complaints with the goal of 100% customer satisfaction, according to Company policy.
• Participate in catering and gifting sales and fulfillment across all B2B and Catering processes.
• Maintain Product Knowledge Expert status on all Retail Merchandise.
• Effectively work and train all front-of-house positions; communicate QA issues to Managers immediately.
• Communicate Management Bulletin information to staff and fulfill required action steps in the absence of store management.
• Oversee the unloading of shipments using established tools, including checking quantities against invoices.
• Perform other duties as required by business and departmental needs.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of store operations.
