Job summary

AriensCo is seeking a motivated Team Leader in Assembly to join our 1st shift team in Brillion, WI. You will lead the assembly line, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and mentor team members in standard work and problem solving.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning from creating and auditing standard work to coaching on takt time and line efficiency. We value teamwork and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of standard work, takt time, and time observations.
• Familiarity with Lean and 6S.
• Trained in TWI.
• Able to read production control charts.
• Past leadership experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Assembly team members.
• Adherence to standard work.
• Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work.
• Ensure cycle time is at or below takt time.
• Train new employees, transfers, and cross-training.
• Fill in for team members on vacation/absent.
• Root cause problem solving to meet daily goals.
• Identify and eliminate waste; focus on safety, quality, productivity, delivery.
• Fill out production control charts and understand control boards.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors and Ariens Company personnel.
