Job summary

AriensCo is seeking a Team Leader for the 2nd shift Welding department at the Fayetteville, TN location. You will lead and coordinate team activities, ensure standard work, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining production targets.

The role requires Lean knowledge, TWI training, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position offers a 3PM-1:30AM schedule, with OT as needed, and a starting pay around the posted rate with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Clear understanding of standard work, time observations, takt time, and bar charts.
• Knowledge of Lean and 6S.
• Trained in TWI.
• Becoming torque certified (training provided).
• Past leadership experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead area team members and ensure standard work.
• Adhere to standard work, create, maintain, audit and improve standard work.
• Ensure cycle time is at or below takt time; help on the line as needed.
• Train new employees, transfers and cross training.
• Fill in for team members on vacation or absent.
• Identify and eliminate waste; participate in continuous improvement.
