Alliance Laundry System LLC in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Team Leader for the 3rd shift in Plastics. You will oversee 5-10 teammates, coach them using leader standard work, and help build capabilities on the plastics lines at our Manitowoc Plant.

This role requires frontline leadership, safety adherence, KPI management, and collaboration with Group Leaders to drive continuous improvement, with Sunday-Thursday nights and overtime Friday into Saturday morning.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Genuine people-centric mentality and servant leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Train new team members within their area/zone.
• Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and PPE.
• Update and maintain KPI's and other metrics for area/zone.
• Hold team members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines.
• Communicate safety news, quality findings, HR updates and line rate/goals to team in daily pre-shift meeting.
• Work with team members to generate and support ideas for Continuous Improvement.
• Escalate any production issues to Group Leaders.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.

Overview

The Team Leader (Line Supervisor) for our Plastics department will be reporting to the Production Group Leader (Supervisor). The Team Leader will support approximately 5-10 team members on our plastics lines. The Team Leader will utilize leader standard work to coach, develop and build capabilities of team members. This position is based out of our Manitowoc Plant.

The 3rd shift hours are starting Sunday through Thursday, 10pm - 6am, 5 - 8 hours shifts. Overtime will be Friday starting at 10pm to Saturaday morning at 6am.

Responsibilities

• Train new team members within their area/zone.
• Ensure all team members are following safety procedures. Obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for team members when necessary.
• Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other metrics for area/zone.
• Hold team members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines.
• Communicate safety news, quality findings, human resources updates and line rate/goals to team in daily pre-shift meeting.
• Work with team members to generate and support ideas for Continuous Improvement. Keep a mindset of Continuous Improvement in everything you do.
• Escalate any production issues/systemic problems to Group Leaders.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.

Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed:

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Must possess a genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Team Leads are required to:

• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
