Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems LLC is seeking a Team Leader to support a production work team on the shop floor in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. You will coach, develop and build capabilities of 5–10 team members, driving safety, quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Production Group Leader, you will assimilate new members, lead pre-shift communications and uphold standardized work while maintaining strong cross-shift collaboration and KPI oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate and train new team members within their area/zone.
• Communicate safety news, quality findings, HR updates and line goals in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure all team members follow safety procedures and provide PPE when needed.
• Generate and support ideas for continuous improvement with a mindset of improvement.
• Hold team members accountable for standard work and safety guidelines.
• Escalate production issues to Group Leaders as needed.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.
• Update and maintain KPI and other metrics for the area/zone.

Reporting to the Production Group Leader (Supervisor), the Team Leader will supportapproximately 5-10team members on a production work team. The Team Leader willutilizeleaderstandard work to coach, develop and build capabilities of team members.

• Assimilate and train new team members within their area/zone.
• Communicate safety news, quality findings, human resources updates and line rate/goals to team in daily pre-shift meeting .
• Ensure all team members are following safety procedures. Obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for team members when necessary.
• Work with team members to generate and support ideas for Continuous Improvement. Keep a mindset of Continuous Improvement in everything you do.
• Hold team members accountable for adherence to standardized work and safety guidelines.
• Escalate any production issues/systemic problems to Group Leaders.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communications with other Team Leaders and Group Leaders.
• Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and other metrics for area/zone.

What You Need To Succeed:

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Must possess a genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Team Leads are required to:

• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
