What You Will Do In This Role

The primary purpose of this role is to support the manufacturing team in achieving production goals and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring and escalating issues, engaging the team, driving continuous improvement, and supporting operational tasks.

  • Adhere to safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including QMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and the production supervisor to optimize resource allocation and support.
  • Perform audits (5S, Safety, Quality, Standardized Work) to ensure compliance.
  • Support team members by addressing questions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns.
  • Perform non-cyclic tasks like paperwork, model change prep, quality checks, and material movement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement workshops and new product development.
  • Lead morning huddles and communicate with associates.
  • Engage team members in problem solving and process improvements.
  • Have working knowledge of jobs and equipment for emergency support and countermeasures.
  • Coordinate cross-training plans.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, open communication, and trust.
  • Coordinate shift change discussions, resource needs, and data collection.
  • Participate in production meetings, explain performance results, and ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Follow production schedules and assign staff based on training and experience.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), with an associate degree preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • Experience performing all jobs in the supported area.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to motivate others and lead as a team player.
  • Passion for excellence and action-oriented mindset.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.

Salary: $23.80 - $34.90 plus 15% shift differential.
