Job summary

Chick-fil-A Sterling is seeking a Team Leader who embodies our core values, serves guests with a smile, and helps keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead shifts, train new hires, count cash drawers, and model excellent communication. Availability four days a week and some Saturdays is required; compensation starts at $15 per hour with progression to $16 per hour as you grow into leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum availability 4 days/week (35 hours).
• Must be able to work 3 Saturdays per month and flexible to open or close (50/50 or 80/20).
• Starting pay at $15/hour and progressing to $16/hour as Leader in Training, with further advancement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful response to guests' needs.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team.
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• The right candidate will start at $15/hour as a Team Member and will move into a Leader in Training at $16/hour. They will then move up accordingly as they advance to a Leader
