Job summary

McLane is seeking a Team Leader to promote warehouse productivity and lead floor operations in a production environment. You will verify product details, coordinate labor, and ensure accurate order preparation.

You’ll supervise activities, optimize processes, and participate in safety programs while supporting a diverse, growth-focused team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Supervisory experience required; basic computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of products; research shortages and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (start of shift, vacations, sick calls).
• Additional duties or special projects may be assigned.

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

Benefits you can count on:

• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 6:00 am until the end of production. Once production is met, the shift is released.
  • Training may be scheduled at alternative times based on operational needs. Candidates must be flexible with training start times and schedules.

What you’ll do as a Team Leader:

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
