Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Team Leader to drive warehouse productivity as a direct floor leader. You will verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product, and supervise a shift to keep orders moving safely and accurately.

You’ll coordinate labor, operate or supervise power equipment, and handle special projects as needed. This role rewards teamwork, safety, and attention to detail while offering opportunities for advancement within a long-standing distribution

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.
