Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Team Leader who embodies our core values and delivers outstanding Guest service in a fast-paced environment. This role supports senior leadership in daily operations, coaches team members, and upholds our standards for Service and Operational Excellence.

You will lead shifts, train new hires, and open/close responsibilities while maintaining a friendly, energetic atmosphere. Strong communication, reliability, and a servant-heart are essential; prior shift-lead experience

Qualifications

• Smile and connect with guests with eye contact.
• Speak enthusiastically and engage with guests and team.
• Reliable transportation to fulfill shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people skills and service orientation.
• Shift-lead or supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Provide immediate, respectful responses to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires; set the tone for shifts; be a role model.
• Lead by example as a friendly, encouraging team player.
• Open and/or close shifts; serve as key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day’s cash.

Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities

• Participating operationally in day‑to‑day activities in high‑volume, fast‑paced Restaurant
