Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader in Alabama to help oversee warehouse operations, verify and record product quantities, and coordinate daily labor. This role offers an hourly pay rate of $20.50 with benefits beginning on day 60 and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You’ll lead a team on the 2nd shift at the DC Dothan location, handle replenishment issues, and ensure accurate loading and labeling of orders, with opportunities for advancement in a diverse, benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out‑of‑stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink‑wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.
