Job summary

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Team Lead II (Weld/Fab) to guide a manufacturing cell through building a product component. You will assign work, supervise operators, and ensure quality and safety standards are met daily.

The role requires strong reading of complex drawings, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, and ERP familiarity, with 4+ years in manufacturing and prior leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate activities within a department with diverse tasks and demanding schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel; ERP system experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility on a variety of processes and operations.
• Assign work and instruct operators on proper techniques, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
• Check and arrange for availability of materials, tools and fixtures.
• Perform direct labor and other functions to maintain workflow and on‑time completion.
• Audit work to ensure all quality procedures are followed and materials meet requirements.
• Assist with evaluating performance and provide coaching with supervisor support.
• Contribute to team by training others in inspection tasks as needed.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
