Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise, control, and monitor processes and workflows at the distribution site.
  2. Assist with inventory management and supplies.
  3. Supervise and train staff involved in warehouse activities such as receiving, stocking, processing, inventory control, shipping, safety, and loss prevention.
  4. Maintain regular communication with your manager.
  5. This role is for second shift, from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
Essential Functions:
  1. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinate workflow to ensure proper scheduling for production and fulfillment.
  3. Lead roles in Receiving, Picking, Reboxing, and Shipping areas as needed.
  4. Train and coach new and temporary employees on work instructions, processes, and policies.
  5. Provide cross-training in equipment and process operations.
  6. Serve as the point of contact for procedures, equipment, or information assistance.
  7. Review and improve processes, assist with implementation, and maintain standards as directed.
  8. Perform packing and shipping tasks following work instructions and departmental procedures with minimal supervision.
  9. Transport materials, supplies, and products within the facility.
  10. Ensure adequate stock of shipping supplies and inform management of reorder needs.
  11. Verify counts against shipping documentation for accuracy.
  12. Prioritize and coordinate departmental functions.
  13. Maintain professional interactions with team members, managers, and support staff.
  14. Ensure compliance with safety practices and maintain an organized warehouse environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Understanding of inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in math, reading, and writing.
  • Experience with ERP systems and computer proficiency.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 20-50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Training and Experience:
  • 2-5 years of warehouse experience.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk, stand, and use hands frequently; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift/move 20-50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance; possess necessary vision capabilities. Exposure to mechanical parts, temperature variations, outdoor conditions, and moderate noise levels is possible. All other duties as assigned.
