St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Team Lead Registered Nurse (RN) for the TCU 3S Unit at the Ft. Thomas Hospital.

The RN Team Leader will provide nursing leadership, oversee patient care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient throughput and compassionate care. This role requires an RN license, eligibility for compact licensure, and prior shift leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is performed.
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership for the assigned shift and supervise care on the unit.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely throughput.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, compassion and empathy in all encounters with patients and families.
• Mentor and guide staff as the shift charge nurse on the 3S unit.

Shift/Hours: Full-Time - Weekend Option, 24/36, Day Shift 7A-7P

The Registered Nurse/Team Leader is responsible for providing nursing leadership in an associate management role for an assigned shift. Provide for the care needs of patients utilizing the nursing process either by directly providing the care or by supervising the care on assigned shift. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to facilitate the throughput of patients both in and out of the unit in a timely manner. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

Graduate from accredited School of Nursing, licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.

Specialized Knowledge:

Ability to direct self and others.
