Job summary

Carhartt WIP in Weil am Rhein is seeking a Team Lead Retail Back Office (m/f/x) to guide a two-person team and drive process improvements across back-office operations and ERP initiatives.

You will coordinate with logistics, stores and other departments to optimize stock movements, orders and replenishment, while developing Power BI reports and supporting store openings.

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial training or experience in a commercial area.
  • Experience in retail is an advantage.
  • Good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel.
  • Accurateness, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Self-driven approach to researching, analysing, and solving complex business challenges.
  • High level of social competence, ability to work in a team, good communication skills for complex issues, and leadership skills or the willingness to develop them.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Fluency in German and English; other languages are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of two professionally as well as in disciplinary matters and be responsible for the further development of the team and its processes
  • Take ownership of Retail Back Office processes and drive their continuous improvement, including ERP-related topics
  • Communication interface between logistics and stores: cooperate with other internal departments to monitor product transit, outgoing goods and deliveries, and be responsible for special handling tasks
  • Represent the team in cross-functional projects (e.g. ERP, CRM, BPM) and support process documentation and optimization
  • Development of reporting tools including Power BI
  • Support the stores in customer service topics: purchase orders, returns, stock corrections, POS orders
  • Monitoring stock movements and stock corrections
  • Recommend improvements to current procedures and systems for allocation and replenishment
  • Support the Retail Head Office
  • Assist in store opening topics and stocktake activities
  • Anticipate and identify system issues, liaise with the relevant departments to solve them
  • Handling of the daily business and individual tasks as they arise
