Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas LLC is seeking a PMO Lead to drive the approval and implementation of program management methods, tools, and standards. The role focuses on harmonizing global processes, conducting process mapping, and mentoring teams to elevate performance and competency.

The PMO Lead will oversee budget reviews, lead strategic projects, and coordinate training on PM tools and best practices across RAU.

Position Summary:

The Program Management Office (PMO) Lead is responsible for the approval and implementation of methods, tools, and standards. The primary focus of the PMO Lead is to implement program management standard best practice tools and methods. The PMO Lead is also responsible for conducting process mapping together with other departments and supporting necessary modifications. The Senior PM Excellence utilizes expertise and provides functional mentoring to team leaders and their teams to drive performance, develop strategies, and improve their competencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Manage and harmonize global program processes, methods, tools, and standards used in Program Management & Customer Service and streamline documentation flow.
• Approve and implement best practice methods and tools for the project organization.
• Approve and implement program management documentation and processes.
• Support the implementation of program management software and systems in accordance with industry standards for RECARO Americas.
• Authority to audit programs for compliance with program management procedures, processes, and best practices.
• Responsible for program budget reviews.
• Provide formal and informal training on the tools, processes, and best practices appropriate for the target individual or team.
• Functional mentoring and steering of PM Excellence Standards best practices for RAU PM department.
• Discipline responsibilities for PMO Team and PM Liaison.
• Coordinate and lead strategic projects (e.g., CCP knowledge to be secured at RAU for Cross Sites PM, new product ramp-up) for the RECARO America organization.
• Conduct detailed project supervision and support coordination activities.
• Increase project organization expertise and professionalism through targeted training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in a technical or business field.
• 5+ years of relative work experience in a similar role.
• Intensive experience leading projects and project teams.
• High experience level of conflict management and moderation.
• Strong, proven customer relations skills are required.
• Ability to train people, define training concepts for the different department needs
• Good understanding of processes.
• Must possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to positively influence people.
• Proven track record of meeting commitments.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment are required.
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Must have excellent internal and external communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions and work with minimal supervision.
