Job summary

Follett Higher Education Group, LLC is seeking a Team Lead who will work with the Department/Store Manager to stock and price merchandise, assist team members, and ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will lead on duty, handle customer concerns, and help maintain store safety and security.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience, and an Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred. The position involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including

• Basic computer skills including creating/saving text documents and sending emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, price and stock merchandise to meet store needs and drive sales.
• Assist Team Members with completing store tasks.
• Provide training and education to team members, including compliance training.
• Act as leader on duty; respond to customer and team concerns in absence of Store Manager.
• Open and close the store; ensure store and team safety and security.

Job description

Team Lead works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers and drive sales and profits. Assist Team Members with completing the work within the store. Ensures all team members receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training. Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager, opening and closing the store, and ensuring all bookstore property and team members are safe and secure.

Pay Range

$12.00-$24.33/hour

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Able to consistently walk and stand, lift 25-50 pounds, and move merchandise using proper equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to create and save text documents and to create and send emails.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
