Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for an entry-level Retail Associate at HomeGoods in Tampa, FL. You’ll help execute receiving and merchandising standards, engage customers, maintain a clean store, and support a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements include 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role, plus strong communication and organizational skills. The role offers weekend availability, competitive hourly pay ranging from $15.00 to $15.50, and benefits eligible

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery and merchandising, prioritizing processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Monitors productivity and coaches as necessary
• Keeps backstock organized and replenishment efficient
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in backroom areas
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and safety programs
