Job summary

BD, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead in Massachusetts. The role supports daily manufacturing on the Arista and Aspen lines, coordinating workflow and training, while ensuring safety and quality compliance on the shop floor.

The position requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in a regulated environment; Lean and CI exposure is preferred. On-site, with 4 days in the office typical in BD's model.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work activities based on production priorities.
• Monitor workflow and staffing to meet shift goals.
• Support schedule attainment and daily production goals.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs and quality requirements.
• Train, onboard and cross-train operators.
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean manufacturing environment.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Serve as primary escalation point for day-to-day issues.
