Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead line operations on the manufacturing floor in Connecticut. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coaching staff and coordinating staffing and training for shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Address safety issues or incidents promptly.
• Manage attendance and PTO; support performance management.
• Staffing and training plans for assigned shift.
• Daily touchpoints with associates to support safety, quality and TPM themes.
• Provide regular feedback and conduct 1:1s as needed.
• Maintain open communication between production associates and management.
• Ensure timely resolution of line issues and escalation as needed.
• Prepare and run Tier 1 production meetings and align with LCO team.
• Apply policies consistently and involve HR as needed.
• Ensure proper material management, work orders, and cycle counts.
