At KARL STORZ North America we’re looking for a Team Lead, Material Coordinator to join our operations team. In this role, you’ll lead stockroom activities that keep production running smoothly and ensure that all materials are available, accurate, and compliant with quality standards. You’ll balance hands‑on work with team leadership, supporting associates while driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Location: Franklin, MA

Hours: 1st shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (some OT as needed)

What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead and coordinate daily stockroom operations, ensuring timely material flow to the production floor.
  • Oversee cycle count programs, investigate discrepancies, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy in SAP and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Train and coach team members to follow SOPs, safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Partner with operations to expedite critical materials and troubleshoot issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement through 6S, waste reduction, and process enhancements.
What you’ll need to be considered for this position:
  • 5+ years of experience in materials coordination, stockroom, or inventory management.
  • Advanced SAP knowledge and strong Excel skills.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring team members.
  • Comfortable with physical requirements: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, operating pallet jacks, and handling packaged materials.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
