New Horizons Rehabilitation, Inc. is hiring a Team Lead for the Life Skills Day Program in Batesville, IN. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by teaching daily living skills, coordinating transportation, and fostering independence.

The Team Lead develops schedules, provides supervision, and works to continually improve service quality while leveraging strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• 18 Years of Age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach individual goals.
• Provide instruction in activities of daily living.
• Transport to and from community resources and events.
• Teach new skills and assist with personal care needs during Life Skills Day Program.
• Develop schedules and provide supportive supervision to improve service quality.
• Maintain strong communication and organization to support individuals.

New Horizons is looking for a Team Lead in our Life Skills Day Program to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals. A Team Lead will work with the individual(s), providing instruction in activities of daily living, transporting to and from community resources and events, teaching new skills, and assisting with personal care needs while the individual(s) attends the Life Skills Day Program. A Team Lead will develop schedules, provide supportive supervision, and work to continually improve the quality of services provided.

A successful Team Lead will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive relationship with the individual(s) they support. The Team Lead will need to utilize problem solving, time management, and organizational skills while working with the individual(s) they support.

The Team Lead will make a positive difference in the life of the individual(s) they support.

Job Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Complete required training including First Aid/CPR certification
