Job summary

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates.

• Stage, sort, palletize, and crate items.

• Enforce 5S processes consistently and effectively.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety standards and protocols at all times.
• Address damaged or missing goods and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with procurement, account management, and customer service.

Job description

We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Fulfillment in Buena Park who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role Details:

Pay Rate: $22-$26 per hour

Hours & Schedule: 4x10 schedule :

Shift 1) Sun–Wed | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

OR

Shift 2) Wed–Sat | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Location: 5600 Knott Ave, Buena Park CA 90621

** Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates;
• Train new employees on company standards and procedures;
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity;
• Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse;
• Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating;
• Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership,
• Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies;
• Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations;
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency;
• Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
• Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods;
• Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues;
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.

** What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years experience in a supervisor or team lead position within a Fulfillment warehouse;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
• Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite;
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
• Have a valid forklift license is a bonus;
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a bonus;
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
