Job summary

The Children's Courtyard in Aurora, IL is seeking a Team Lead to guide classroom activities, mentor staff, and collaborate with families to support children's growth. You will lead curriculum implementation and act as a mentor to new hires in a supportive, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility and leading a classroom.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote growth of children; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate with families to support child and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires; create engaging learning experiences.
• Take on director/assistant director duties in absence.
• Ensure daily care following licensing guidelines and company standards.
