Job description

The Team Lead, Collections will manage the team and provide effective guidance. Responsibilities include supervising, managing, and motivating team members for productivity and efficiency. As the point of contact for all team members, the Team Leader, Collections must have excellent communication skills and the ability to be proactive in ensuring smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create an inspiring, motivating team environment through open communication
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Identify training needs and provide coaching
• Gather team members’ feedback and resolve issues or conflicts
• Ensure quality assurance and FDCPA guidelines are being followed by monitoring calls
• Update system and procedure manuals to reflect changes
• Train new employees on protocols and internal/external applications
• Use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivilant required
• Proven work experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
• Knowledge of FDCPA rules and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Organizational and time-management skills

Working Conditions
