Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader for our Utah warehouse focused on cigarettes. You will lead floor operations, verify quantities and conditions, and help resolve stock issues to keep orders moving accurately.

This 3x12 schedule runs 2pm–2am on Sundays through Tuesdays or Wednesdays through Fridays. Competitive benefits begin after 60 days, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement in a long‑standing distribution leader.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience and forklift operation.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and instructions.
• Supervisory experience and strong teamwork.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Coordinate warehouse labor and shift start activities.
• Pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

• Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour.
• 3x 12 hour shifts. 2pm-2am Sun-Tue or Wed-Fri

What you’ll do as a Team Leader:

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
