Job summary

You will perform hands-on work, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, follow safety rules, and ensure all work meets trades standards. Leadership experience and ability to read electrical drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualifies under OPM X-118C for WG-2800 Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
• Ability to Lead or Supervise.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Theory and instruments used in shop and trade practices.
• Ability to use electrical drawings.
• Ability to use and maintain hand tools.
• Troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three or more workers.
• Perform hands-on trades work at the level of crew members.
• Troubleshoot, modify, repair, and test complex electrical systems.
• Set up and operate diagnostic equipment to test electrical circuitry.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean work environment.
