Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Team Lead in Winchester, VA to supervise a production group on site. You will guide teams to meet performance metrics, uphold safety standards, and support lean manufacturing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities, plus forklift certification and experience with standard office tools. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with additional training considered a plus.

Qualifications

  • Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid disruptions in production and customer service
  • Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written
  • Qualifications
  • Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional formal education and/or training is a plus
  • 5 plus years work experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Working knowledge of and experience of production flow and processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop effective teams without direct control
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
